Frequently asked questions
Overview
We sell brand-new cars to buyers across the Arab world. We buy each one from a franchised dealer in Oman, price in US dollars, and arrange the export documents and the shipping to your port. We are the seller — not a marketplace, and not a broker putting you in touch with someone else.
No. New only, bought from a dealer once you commit to a car. Until September 2026 this site was a used-car classifieds site under another name — if you have landed here from an old link or an old search result, that is why it looks like it changed.
Left-hand drive, every one, because Oman drives on the right. Every market we ship to drives on the right too — the Gulf and Yemen, the Levant and Iraq, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa and Sudan. Some of them we serve on a condition we settle before we quote — Kuwait, Yemen, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Somalia and Djibouti — and each of their pages leads with it. Any other market, on request: ask us, and we answer honestly. A country that drives on the left will not register a left-hand-drive car, and we say so when asked.
Almost certainly not, and you should plan on used. The car really is brand new — zero kilometres, never registered — but we are not a franchised dealer, and a destination country treats a car sold on by a third party as used. So your country's used-import rules apply: pre-shipment inspection and conformity, the duty rate for used vehicles, and in a few markets a ban on used imports altogether. We check your country's rules with you before we quote, including any limit on the age of an imported car. Tell us which country you are buying for and we will tell you what we know before you commit to anything.
Not once it leaves Oman. A factory warranty is honoured by the manufacturer's dealer network in the country where the car was sold, and exporting it ends that — this is the manufacturers' own policy, not something we chose. We would rather you knew now than discovered it at a dealer in your own city. If we ever arrange cover you can actually claim, it will be named on the listing; if the listing names nothing, assume there is none.
A GCC-spec car is built for the Gulf's heat and dust: larger cooling capacity, heavier dust filtration, corrosion protection, and tuning for the fuel sold in the Gulf. It is why a GCC-spec car suits these markets. Each listing says whether the car is GCC spec, and states its exact specification.
Because a listing is a model in a particular specification, not one car standing in a yard. A chassis number belongs to a particular vehicle, and that vehicle is allocated when you commit to it — at which point the number is yours, with the export documents. We will not put an invented one on a page.
No, and the page says so. They are the manufacturer's or the dealer's images of that model in that specification — the right trim, the right colour, the right model year. A new car has no photograph of its own until a unit is allocated. We will send you photographs of your actual car before it ships.
It depends on whether a dealer has the car now or it has to be ordered, and on the sailing to your port. Each listing shows what we expect for that model — “in stock in Oman”, or a lead time in days. Those are honest expectations at the time of publication, not guaranteed dates, and we will give you a firmer answer when we confirm with the dealer. A listing marked “Not in stock” is a car we cannot get right now. It stays on the site, after every car we can supply, and you can still ask us whether that is likely to change.
Sohar, Salalah or Duqm, whichever suits the route to you and what is sailing at the time. The listing names the port we expect to use. Within the GCC the car goes by road instead.
Costs and quotes
No. The price on a listing is the car, in Oman, in US dollars. Shipping to your port is quoted when you ask, and priced on the day rather than read off a table — freight rates move with the season and with whatever is happening on the route, so a number published a month ago can be wrong today. You will get a figure we will stand behind for a stated period, not an estimate that drifts. This is also why you will never find a shipping calculator here: an exporter showing you a fixed freight price on a web page has either stopped checking it or padded it enough to be safe.
Those are set by your country and are yours to pay. They are not included in our price and we do not collect them. We will tell you what we know about your market, and we will not publish a claim about another country's rules unless we have checked it — but confirm your own side before you commit.
It is a real price we believe we can honour when it is published, for that model in that specification. Dealer prices move, and when one moves we correct the listing rather than leaving a number up to attract an enquiry we cannot meet. The quote we send you states its own validity period, and that quote is what binds.
Not through this website — no page here asks for card or bank details, and we take no payment online. The terms are agreed with you in writing before anything moves, and the reply to your enquiry sets them out.
Safety and security
Ask, and check. Ask for our commercial registration and we will send it, and it will be published on the Terms page before launch. We will send you the export documents in your name, and we will answer a video call about a car. Anyone selling cars abroad should expect to be asked, and we would rather you asked us than did not.
Check before you send anything. We agree terms in writing, from our own address, and we never ask for money outside that agreement — not a transfer to a personal account, not an urgent payment to secure a car. If something does not match what we have sent you in writing, stop and tell us.
This is why we ask which country you are buying for before we quote. Where a country has them, age limits, emissions rules and left-hand-drive restrictions decide registration, and we would rather lose an enquiry than take one we know cannot end in a registered car. Confirming your own side remains your responsibility, and we will tell you plainly where we think there is a problem.
